A Message from our President About Coronavirus


March 19, 2020 — Home Land Environmental has been serving Maryland for 15 years. As environmental specialists, we aim to inform, educate, and provide peace of mind for our clients. We are dedicated to protecting your family and home, as well as the health and safety of our employees. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made some changes to how we will run our business during this time. I wanted to share my thoughts about what we are facing and how Home Land Labs and Home Land Environmental are responding.

As the Coronavirus has continued to spread in our community, we have undertaken the following precautions to ensure that we are able to provide our essential services safely and without interruption. Home Land Labs is currently open, though now operating with a limited staff. Our Home Land Environmental offices are now closed, and our administrative and customer service teams are working from home. Inspections can still be scheduled via email and online. 

Following our usual protocol, our customer service team will confirm your appointment via email prior to your appointment. If anyone in your residence is quarantined or ill with viral symptoms, please let us know so that we may reschedule the appointment. If our service requires entry to your home, it will be performed with limited human contact. When in your home, we will utilize personal protective equipment such as masks, goggles, and shoe covers.

We are closely following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and other local and federal health officials. Our team members remain vigilant about following standard protocols and precautions such as regular hand washing and disinfecting service tools and equipment. In addition, our inspectors have been advised to stay home if they feel ill or may have come into contact with someone who has been exposed.

Our reputation for high-quality service, professional integrity, and commitment to the health and safety of our customers is our most important asset. During this uncertain time, we remain committed to responding to the needs of our customers and employees as this situation evolves.
