Local laboratory that specializes in drinking water analysis is in need of a customer service-oriented candidate to work in our Annapolis lab. This position is paid hourly and offers healthcare benefits, retirement plan with a company match, paid federal holidays and a casual dress code among other benefits.

This full-time position will assist in daily operations to ensure maximum efficiency. This position will have contact with clients when accepting samples, sending reports, scheduling appointments, and collecting payment. Will coordinate and manage a variety of general administration duties.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients
• Answer and direct calls
• Schedule water sampling appointments
• Accept samples and ensure appropriate forms are completed from clients
• Log samples and properly record results in the Lab Information Management System (LIMS)
• Prepare laboratory reports for clients
• Import/export data and data entry
• General administration and front desk responsibilities
• Keep shared office areas organized and functional
