We have one opening for a summer intern at our Waldorf lab. The ideal candidate is a Junior or Senior studying to obtain a bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or Environmental Health. Responsibilities will include accepting samples from clients, prepare samples and assist in analyzing samples under the supervisor of the Lab Director. All samples must be prepared in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures and Quality & Safety Manual. Samples will be logged in the Lab Information Management System (LIMS). Complete quality control tasks and maintain records. Will follow the procedure to retain and properly dispose of samples. Monitor inventory and supplies. Clean glassware and prepare reagents. Importing data and date entry. Strong organization and time management skills. General customer service skills are required. Experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
